Aloísio Matos is head of cross border payment solutions at Inter – Usend. He led the sale of Usend to Banco Inter as partner and head of strategy. Before joining Usend, he worked as a lawyer in top-tier law firms, with focus on financial markets laws, regulation, and compliance in Brazil, advising banks, brokers, money transfer companies, and cryptocurrency exchanges and companies. He has a bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (Mackenzie – São Paulo) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Financial and Capital Markets from Insper – SP – Brazil, as well as important certifications, such as (i) Fintech Specialist from Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT and (ii) CAMS – Certified Anti-money laundering specialist.
