Dr Anand Shrivastav is a man of many facets. An Entrepreneur, a Public Service Worker, a Strategist, an Advisor & Start-up Guide and Mentor with experience in Digital Financial Services as well as Retail Financial Services.
After a master’s degree from the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, he joined US Steel and three years later he returned to India and joined Coca-Cola. Several companies later he was ready to make his move. Dr Anand had observed that in India most financial transactions were carried out through cash and he decided to focus his company on easing cash transfers. In December 2002 Suvidha Starnet Private Limited (Beam) was founded as a cash transaction facilitator. Years of hard worked brought success to Beam, and today the company offers cashless payment for various services, such as domestic money transfers, banking transactions, utility bill payments, home delivery, shopping.
He is the Chairman of the Business Correspondent Federation of India – BCFI since 2014 and sits in many Board of Directors (Intercorp Biotech, Social Economic Empowerment Development Foundation, Genesis Biogen) and is a member of the Responsible Finance Forum.
