Opening remarks
The $150 Trillion Question: where cross-border payments go from here
Opening Panel 45 minCross-border payments are changing at almost every layer at once: infrastructure, regulation, economics, and the companies competing to move the money. (...) We open World with a wider view of where the market stands today, where opportunity is moving, and which shifts could matter most over the next several years.
The View from Above: what the data says about money, migration, and the year ahead
Keynote 20 minBefore individual technologies and business models, the forces moving beneath them. (...) Migration, economic pressure, demographics, and policy can shift where money moves long before the industry feels it. A data-led view of what's already underway, and what it means for the year ahead.
Coffee break
The Remittance Tax, One Year In: what the data actually says
Panel 45 minNearly a year after the U.S. remittance tax took effect, we move past the predictions and look at what actually happened. (...) Did customers change how they fund transfers? Did transaction sizes, digital adoption, pricing, or volumes move? What the first year actually tells us about how consumers respond when policy changes the economics of sending money.
Lunch
The Ramp Decision: how to choose an on-ramp, off-ramp, and liquidity partner
Panel 45 minThe number of companies offering access to digital dollars, stablecoins, and new settlement infrastructure has grown fast. Choosing among them hasn’t gotten easier. (...) A practical look at what to evaluate, licensing, geography, currencies, FX, liquidity, banking access, compliance, and counterparty exposure, before building a partner into your payment stack.
The Capital Behind the Payment: prefunding, liquidity, and the real cost of moving money
Panel 45 minA payment may arrive instantly, but the capital that makes it possible rarely does. (...) Money has to sit somewhere, in the right currency, with the right partner, at the right time. Prefunding, trapped liquidity, FX exposure, and whether new infrastructure actually solves these problems, or just moves them elsewhere.
Coffee break
The Great Debate: stablecoins, revolution or rounding error?
Debate 45 minStablecoins have moved from industry curiosity to serious payment infrastructure. The disagreement now is over how much they ultimately change. (...) In a formal debate, two sides make the strongest case for whether stablecoins fundamentally reshape cross-border payments, or become one more useful rail inside a much larger system.

Day 2 welcome
Building on Someone Else’s Rails: independence vs. integration in the network era
Opening Panel Sponsored by
45 min
No cross-border company operates alone. (...) Banks, card networks, instant-payment systems, blockchain rails, and liquidity partners increasingly sit underneath the customer experience. Which capabilities are worth owning, which are better integrated, and when does efficiency become dependency risk?
Coverage Isn’t Payout / What reliable last-mile delivery into Africa actually takes
Sponsored Spotlight
20 min
Why being “live” in an African market is not the same as delivering reliable payout, and what the last mile actually requires. (...) Getting money to the edge of a market is not the same as getting it to the person or business being paid. The last mile, whether into a bank account, mobile wallet or cash pickup point, is where a cross-border payment ultimately succeeds or fails. Africa makes that challenge especially visible. Markets differ in currencies, banking infrastructure, mobile-money adoption, local payment systems, regulation and customer behavior. Being technically “live” in a country does not necessarily mean every payout method works reliably when a customer needs it. This session looks at what reliable coverage actually requires: local connectivity, payout choice, liquidity, redundancy and the operating infrastructure behind consistent delivery. As cross-border demand expands beyond remittances into business payments, the question becomes harder: what does it really mean to say you can pay into a market?
What Pix Changed: six years that rewired a payments market
Keynote 20 minPix did more than make payments faster. (...) It changed customer expectations, competitive dynamics, bank strategy, and fintech business models in Brazil. What other markets can genuinely learn, and what gets lost when its success gets reduced to a blueprint anyone can copy.
Coffee break
The Adoption Problem: what actually makes people trust a financial product
Panel 45 minFinancial companies spend enormous energy improving speed, price, and functionality. Customers don’t always choose on those terms. (...) Familiarity, perceived control, brand, fear, friction, and social proof can matter just as much. Why people adopt, abandon, and recommend financial products, and what that means for product and growth strategy.
Lunch
When Software Can Spend: agentic payments and the new rules of authorization
Panel 45 minAI is moving from helping people make decisions to acting on those decisions. (...) Once software can initiate a transaction, authorization, identity, and liability get much harder. Who establishes intent? Who’s responsible when the wrong payment is made? And what happens when software starts choosing the rail itself?
Coffee break
Where the Next $50 Million Goes: what cross-border leaders are betting on for 2027
Panel 50 minEvery strategic priority sounds important until capital becomes finite. (...) Give cross-border leaders an extra $50 million: customer growth, compliance, AI, infrastructure, geographic expansion, M&A, or something else? They make the call, explain the expected return, and tell us what they’d deliberately leave unfunded.

Day 3 · Thursday, November 19 — The Horizon

Opening remarks
Who Gets Paid When Payments Get Cheaper? The next business model of cross-border
Opening Panel 40 minAs moving money gets faster, cheaper, and easier, the economics of the industry change with it. (...) Margin may migrate away from the transaction itself toward compliance, distribution, treasury, data, or customer ownership. Where durable value sits next, and what that means for companies built around yesterday’s economics.
Money in a Fragmenting World: what geopolitics changes about cross-border strategy
Panel 40 minCross-border payments depend on a world that’s becoming more politically and financially fragmented. (...) Sanctions, capital controls, currency instability, and growing concern over who controls financial infrastructure all change how and where companies operate. The business decisions created by that environment: markets, partners, currencies, rails, and risk.
Coffee break
Everything Connects. Then What? The economics and control of interoperability
Panel 45 minThe industry has spent years trying to make systems connect. (...) Cards, bank accounts, instant-payment networks, wallets, stablecoins, and eventually AI agents are increasingly expected to work together. But connection creates a second set of questions: who sets the rules, owns the customer relationship, and captures the economics?
The Attack Surface: what breaks when money moves instantly, globally, and autonomously
Closing Panel 40 minThe same changes making payments faster and more capable also create new ways for them to fail. (...) Instant settlement shortens the time to stop fraud. AI increases both automation and social engineering. We close the program asking what vulnerabilities this new system creates, and what the industry needs to solve before it scales further.
