David Lester

David Lester has had a long career in the Foreign Exchange Business. Staring his career in American Express he quickly moved to ICE – International Currency Exchange, one of the world’s leading providers of retail Bureau de Change and online foreign exchange services, with over 400 branches throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. David managed the Miami-Fort Lauderdale operations for almost 6 years, before Ria Financial brought him back to Spain in 2003. He spent 5 years helping RIA develop its Foreign Exchange Business in all their retail stores in Europe. After a year at Lebara Mobile, David went to work with Western Union for 5 years and became an independent consultant in 2015 with Currensi Consultants.

David comes to IMTC representing Novacambios Portugal’s leading provider of retail foreign exchange services in Portugal, the Portuguese ex-colonies in Africa, France and soon in other countries in Europe. Together with Realtransfer, the group has built a following for the reliability, strength and excellent service it provides.
