Francisco Sánchez-Apellániz is the founder and CEO of MoneyTrans Group, a role he has held since March 2001. Born and raised in Spain, Francisco’s educational journey began at San Estanislao de Kostka in Malaga, where he studied from 1977 to 1989. He furthered his education with a Master’s in Business Administration from EADE, which he completed in 1992.

Francisco began his career as a cashier and manager at Maccorp S.A., “Exact Change,” an English multinational bureau de change, from July 1989 to June 1991. He worked in locations across Torremolinos, Marbella, Spain, and Paris, France. He then moved to Bankinter in Fuengirola, Spain, where he worked for a year. His next role was Managing Director at Change Center, a position he held for nearly nine years from June 1992 to February 2001.

Fluent in Spanish, French, and English, Francisco’s linguistic prowess is matched by his extensive knowledge of various software and hardware technologies. His personal interests include literature, tennis, culture, and exploring the Internet, reflecting his well-rounded personality and dedication to lifelong learning.
