Geraldo Magela Siqueira has been with the Central Bank of Brazil for 35 years, 31 in the Foreign Exchange Area of ​​the Bank. He is currently the Head of the Foreign Exchange and Capitals Unit at the Bank (GENCE), the area in charge with developing studies to modernize the all regulations and procedures applicable to foreign exchange, money transfer, foreign investment, Brazilian investments abroad, etc. It was one of the coordinators of the team that prepared the studies that resulted in the unification of the foreign exchange market in 2005 and the improvements seen in the current foreign exchange regulations.
