Nancy Castillo is a Manager at the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI). Nancy conducts research and advises financial services providers on consumer financial health. She serves as the product manager for FinX, CFSI’s Connecting to the Consumer Financial Experience, an interactive workshop that provides participants with an opportunity to gain valuable firsthand insights and understanding of the complexity of consumers’ challenges in accessing financial services. Nancy will be conducting the MTFinX at IMTC WORLD 2016 in Miami.

She joined the CSFI as a Research Coordinator of the U.S. Financial Diaries in January 2011. She led the development and implementation of the U.S. Financial Diaries (USFD), a study that tracked 235 low- and moderate-income households over the course of a year to collect highly detailed data on how families manage their finances on a day-to-day basis.

Previous to CSFI she worked for 4 years at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, D.C. as an  Associate in Remittances and Development, working with Remittance Expert Manuel Orozco. Nancy graduated from Pitzer College with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Political Studies/Latin American Studies in 2005
