MTBIT – REMITTANCES AND BLOCKCHAINS
This document is for all my colleagues in the Money Transfer industry
If you have been reading about cryptocurrencies, distributed networks, shared and public databases
or ledgers, like Bitcoin, Ripple, or Stellar, or if you have a good knowledge about the Blockchain or you are a Bitcoin supporter, this document is not for you – you will probably find it to be too basic.
This document which you can view/download is meant to be
read by my colleagues in the financial services sector, especially Money Transfer, Remittance and Forex colleagues and the regulators involved with such matters, who know something about the subject but want to better understand the blockchain revolution.
I do beleive in the future of these new technologies, so I did my homework and read, discussed it with friends, with bitcoin start-ups, with engineers that left me wondering if my brain cells were not flexible enough to bend that way and see the light.
I was able to understand – up to a point – and looking through the optic of “remittance tools”, explain it in the best way I could. It has been read by a few and corrected by another few, so it is now ready; I hope is useful for you.
I would love your comments in the same post in the IMTC LinkedIn Group but you can always reply on this newsletter and give them privately. And if you are doing Bitcoin Remittances, or “Rebittances”, please reach out. I want to know and follow your journey.
