He has consistently driven successful, short- and medium-term turnarounds to restore growth while improving operating discipline and execution around the world. In addition, he has proven expertise leading digital transformation and aggressively growing digital revenues for global corporations.
Odilon has significant experience in corporate governance. He was a Board Member of Millicom International (NASDAQ US:TIGO; NASDAQ Stockholm: TIGO_SDB) and Chairman of its Compliance Committee for the last 8 years. Headquartered in Luxembourg, Millicom International is a leading provider of fixed and mobile telecommunication, employing around 20,000 people and providing mobile and fiber-cable services to more than 50 million customers and 13 million households. He is also a Board Member of Viscaya Museum & Gardens, a highly regarded museum destination in Miami that attracts visitors from all over the world.
From the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2022, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member at ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW). ACI Worldwide is a global software provider of mission critical real-time payment solutions to the world’s largest banks and corporations. With operations in 80+ countries and revenue of $1.5B, ACI Worldwide is a global leader in real-time payments. From 2019 to 2020, Odilon was an Operating Partner at Advent International, one of the world’s largest private equity funds with $54.3B in assets under management across 41 countries.
From 2002 to 2019, Odilon advanced through increasingly significant general management and operating roles at Western Union (NYSE:WU), the global leader in cross-border money movement. His last position was President, Western Union Global Money Transfer, where he headed WU’s $5B consumer business in 200+ countries and territories plus its digital offering in 90+ countries.
