Mr. Anil Kapur is the founder and CEO of InTandem Advisors which was launched in June 2016.  It’s a remittance consulting and advisory firm which helps financial-services firms build good retail distribution channels by leveraging many of InTandem’s existing channel partners across India. The company focuses primarily on two areas; (1) Enabling companies setup their remittance and payments business within India/South-Asia and (2) Helping financial services firms build their distribution within India and South Asia for their products.

Anil was instrumental in setting up Western Union’s business in India (later South Asia and South East Asia) and led the growth of India into one of the top 5 revenue generating countries for Western Union globally, setting up a network of over 1,00,000 brick and mortar locations in the process across the country (largest network for Western Union anywhere in the world). During his tenure of 14 years with the company Anil was able to establish tie ups with India Post, connections with over 40 leading banks, thousands of small mom and pop outlets (foreign exchange, Travel, money transfer, bill payments, mobile recharge stores, etc).

Anil graduated from the University of Connecticut, Storrs with a degree in Master of Business Administration in 1990 after pursuing his Bachelors in B.Com. from Hansraj College in the year 1987.
