Jeff Matheson, a 15 year veteran of the FinTech industry, is tasked with leading the overall growth strategy and business process management for HiFX North America, widely recognized as one of the world’s leading foreign exchange specialists. U.K.- based HiFX, is a 20 year company and a fast-growing provider of online international payments and foreign exchange services.

Euronet Worldwide, Inc., owner of RIA, bought HiFX for $241 million in 2014 and announced its entry into North America in 2015.

HiFX will bring its global payments expertise, innovative financial technology and highly tailored customer service to the billion-dollar U.S. and Canadian currency exchange market. More than 100,000 people and 6,000 businesses transfer money quickly, easily, securely and at bank-beating exchange rates, 24 hours a day, seven days a week through HiFX online portal. In 2013 & 2014 $24 Billion in Money Transfers were processed, a total of 36 M transactions in 2013.

Jeff has been named Managing Director of HiFX North America. He is a client focused director with expertise in global payment and foreign exchange risk management solutions.

Before joining the HiFX team, Jeff Matheson was a Senior Vice President at Cambridge Global Payments, Regional Director – Corporate Canada for Western Union Business Solutions, Branch Manager in Ottawa,and UK Sales Director for FIRMA Foreign Exchange. He graduated with honors from Carleton University with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Jeff earned prestigious Ottawa Business Journal Forty under 40 ranking for exemplifying leadership, entrepreneurship, and community building and the 2013 Presidents Club Award from the Cambridge Mercantile Group.
