Jesse Torres is a seasoned banking professional and one of a small number of Hispanic bank presidents. Mr. Torres has spent nearly 20 years in leadership and executive management positions. Mr. Torres maintains a wide range of skills that include risk management, internal audit, operations, credit administration, information technology, marketing, public relations and regulatory compliance. Mr. Torres has held senior management positions in financial institutions such as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pan American Bank (2009-2014), Security Savings Bank, InterBusiness Bank,California National Bank and Fidelity Federal Bank. He is also a Committee Member of the ABA Community Bankers Council representing community banking in ABA’s government policy-making process and a Committee Member of the ICBA Minority Bank Council, the voice for nearly 7,000 community banks in the US.

Jesse began his career as a bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (“OCC”) and then as a Senior Consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick’s financial services practice. Jesse has written several books and articles related to Hispanic marketing and social media. Jesse’s recent book is the Human Resources Guide to Social Media Risks.

Jesse is frequently featured in industry conferences and is often interviewed by industry publications. He holds a B.A. from UCLA and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. He has also received a number of certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
