Paul Linehan is the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer of Gabriel Partners, a firm that is “is changing the nature of the AML/BSA professional services landscape“. With approximately 200 specialists, the firm provides financial and risk analytics, intelligence, and regulatory advice to financial institutions, law practices, and corporations. Gabriel Partners Financial Advisory practice provides analytics, expert testimony, and business valuation services. Their Risk and Compliance practice, AML RightSource, provides a full suite of subject matter expertise and co-sourcing solutions designed to assist clients with AML/BSA obligations.

Paul is also heavily involved in the firm’s risk and compliance practice as a subject matter expert. Prior to joining Gabriel, he spent 16 years as an attorney at a large Cleveland-based firm, McDonald Hopkins LLC, advising clients including financial institutions, in multiple areas of complex litigation including bankruptcy, fraud, and AML related issues.

He earned his B.B.A in Accountancy from the University of Norte Dame and spent four years as an audit-side CPA at Deloitte, the accounting firm, before returning to law school at the Case Western Reserve School of Law. Paul serves his community as a member of the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation Board.
