Sheshagiri (Sukesh) Malliah is MoneyGram’s Head for South Asia, responsible for one of the largest partner franchise for MoneyGram globally, spanning India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives & Bhutan.

Before joining MoneyGram, he’s spent over 16 years in Business Development, Product Strategy and Operations for organizations like Visa where he was the Director of Prepaid Solutions for India and South Asia & Head of the Global Client Group for Japan, Asia Pacific & Australia for American Express.

He got his Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration in Manipal (1998) after graduating from the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College in Udupi with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Business and Commerce (1995).

Accomplished as a result driven business leader, Sukesh’s key role is to strengthen the current relationships in the region and bring in newer formidable partners that provide consumers ease of use and create service differentiation for MoneyGram.
